Adoption Process

Adoption Fees and Application

The adoption process has several steps to ensure that our huskies are going to qualified, educated, and loving forever homes.

Adoption Fees

Adoption fees are $350 for puppies under 2 years old; $250 for adults between 2 and 7 years old; $150 for seniors 8 years and older.
Pay your adoption fee by completing the online application through our website (Coming soon!).

NOTE: Adoption fees are nonrefundable.

Step 1: Look at our adoptable dogs

Take a look at our available huskies and read up on which one you feel would be best for you and your family.

Step 2: Apply

Download a PDF of the adoption application or complete our online application. The completed PDF application, can be emailed to applications@rockyroadhuskyrescue.org.

Step 3: Interview

Once we receive your application, our application coordinator will assign it to a processor. They will then call your references, do a vet check if you have current animals, and schedule a home visit. Please allow up to 2 weeks for completion of this step.

Step 4: Meet and Greet

Once your application is approved, we will contact you to arrange a visit with the husky you are interested in to ensure a good match.

Step 5: Placement

After visiting with the huskies and a good match has been selected, our team will coordinate a timeline to transition your new family member to your home.
